Courtney Hodrick was awarded a PhD in German Studies in addition to a PhD Minor in Feminist, Gender, and Sexuality Studies with a dissertation called, "The Concept of Hope in the Works of Hannah Arendt." Courtney served as the graduate organizer for the "Hannah Arendt's Jewish Questions" conference, held at Stanford in December 2022, which brought together Arendt scholars from around the world. She will continue her scholarship at Stanford as the Reinhard Alumni Postdoctoral Fellow in Jewish Studies for the 2023-2024 academic year.
