Join us for a two-day workshop about storytelling and the contemporary novel.

Day 1, March 13:
Bible and Storytelling

  • 5:00pm - Keynote lecture by renowned literary scholar and master translator, Robert Alter(UC Berkeley).

Day 2, March 14:
Storytelling in Context

  • 3:15pm - Award-winning Israeli author Noa Yedlin will join writer-in-residence Maya Aradand graduate student Ariel Horowitz in conversation (in Hebrew).
  • 4:30pm - We will celebrate the much-anticipated English translation of Maya Arad's novel The Hebrew Teacher, including remarks from the translator, Jessica Cohen.
