Award-winning Israeli author Ayelet Gundar-Goshen presents her newest novel, The Wolf Hunt, a timely exploration of the fault lines in a community, a school, and a family, as an Israeli mother begins to suspect her teenage son of committing a terrible hate crime.

Set in the heart of Silicon Valley, a family of Israeli immigrants has lived in the United States long enough that they consider it home. But after a brutal attack on a local synagogue shakes their sense of safety, the teenage son Adam enrolls in a self-defense class taught by a former Israeli Special Forces officer. There, for the first time, he finds a sense of belonging.

Then, tragedy strikes again when Jamal Jones, a Black classmate of Adam's, collapses and dies at a class party. As more details surface and racial tensions in the community are ignited, Adam's mother, Lilach, begins to question everything she thought she knew about her child. Could her worst fears be possible? Could her son have had something to do with Jamal’s death?
