Sara Kessler is a fifth year PhD student in the linguistics department. Her research focuses on the interaction between context and world knowledge in the interpretation of adjectives. In her dissertation she investigates the acquisition of dimensional adjective antonyms in Modern Hebrew, how the structure of the lexical field is reflected in the process of acquisition, and the role of context in the process.
