Roey Gafter

Roey is a lecturer at the department of Hebrew Language at Ben-Gurion University, where he works mainly on sociophonetic variation in Hebrew and how it interacts with the construction of ethnic identity in Israel. 

Other interests include phonetic perception, language contact, and experimental approaces to Hebrew syntax.
