Mareike Reisch

Mareike Elisa Reisch is a Ph.D. candidate in German Studies and a Ph.D. Minor student in ILAC. She works on medieval and early modern German and Spanish literature. Her research focuses on late medieval travel literature with a particular interest in cross cultural and religious contact, and the perception of space. In her dissertation, Mareike explores the perception and narrative transmission of space in 15th century pilgrimage accounts of pilgrimages to Jerusalem.
