Lauren Urbont

History

Lauren Urbont is a PhD student in the Department of History. She studies the history of Jewish-Christian religious and cultural exchange in Western Europe in the Middle Ages, particularly between the eleventh and thirteenth centuries. She is currently working on responsa literature from thirteenth-century Germany. During the 2022-2023 academic year, Lauren will offer an undergraduate course called The History of Conversion.
