Elizabeth Spaeth is a rising junior at Stanford majoring in history and minoring in art history. Raised in Kansas City, Missouri, she is interested in studying the intersections that exist between historical and legal studies and hopes to spend her career exploring how legal institutions can shape societies for the better. Aside from academics, she is a member of Stanford’s Womxn in Law student organization and anticipates spending a future quarter or two studying abroad in Paris, France.

She received the Nelee Langmuir Award (in the study of modern European History, with an emphasis on the holocaust) in 2020 for "The Influence of Bolshevism on Jewish Deportations in France From 1942-44" written for Prof. Rowan Dorin's class.
