Shoah: A Screening and Discussion

In recognition of the 80th anniversary of Kristallnacht and the recent passing of Claude Lanzmann, the Taube Center for Jewish Studies at Stanford University will be hosting a free screening of the epic film 'Shoah.' The film is arguably the most important cinematic documentaries ever made on the Holocaust. However, due to its length (9.5 hours), few people have seen it in its entirety. Our plan is to devote a whole day to showing and trying to make sense of this important film. We will begin the screening in at 9:00 am and will pause for lunch at 12:30.
