Aaron-Roland Endowed Lecture

The Aaron Roland Endowed Lectures are supported by the Aaron-Roland Fund For Jewish Studies which was established in 1969 and is our longest running lecture series. In 2016-17, we invited Judith Plaskow back after 25 years when she was the guest lecturer for this lecture in 1992. Here are a few of our most recent Aaron Roland lectures:

  • 2016-17: Bathroom Anxiety: Purity, Disgust, and the Dilemmas of Being Human with Judith Plaskow, Professor of Religious Studies at Manhattan College
  • 2015-16: Fifty Years of Catholic-Jewish Relations: The Gains and The Challenges with John T. Pawlikowski, Professor of Social Ethics and Director of Catholic-Jewish Studies Program at Catholic Theological Union
  • 2014-15: From Alila to Ana Arabia: A Rare Evening With Filmmaker Amos Gitai
